Radulov line hopes to continue clicking as Preds take on Blackhawks

The Nashville Predators will host the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at 7 p.m. at Bridgestone Arena. Nashville is coming off of a 4-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings last night, and will be looking to reach the 100 point mark on the season with a victory tonight.

These two teams met last Sunday in Chicago in a similar situation. Nashville was coming off of a win against the Winnipeg Jets the previous night, and was on the second half of a back-to-back when they traveled to Chicago. Tonight, the Predators will once again playing against Chicago in the second half of a back-to-back set.

Last Sunday, the Predators blasted the Blackhawks by a 6-1 score at the United Center. Pekka Rinne made key saves, and the Predators got timely goals throughout their lineup en route to the lopsided victory. They hope to have similar success tonight.

Chicago is coming off of a 4-3 shootout win over the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night. They will be looking for revenge against a Nashville team that has had their number all season long. The Predators have posted a 4-0-1 record against the Blackhawks so far this season.

Since making his return to Nashville, Alexander Radulov has posted five points(2g, 3a) in five games. Radulov had his first multi-point game since returning to the NHL on Friday night against Detroit. He has made an immediate impact and seems to be fitting in to the locker room just fine.

"I knew half of the guys on the team so it was easy for me to come and fit in because it's a good group of guys and they're all working hard. It's easy. I just have to come and do my best and I know they'll help me," Radulov said.

Radulov has been on a line with David Legwand and mostly Patric Hornqvist since making his return. However, Andrei Kostitsyn has also spent time on a line with Radulov and Legwand.

"They're good players. They score a lot, and I just need to go out there and do my best and everything is going to be alright. The main thing is that we have to play in the playoffs. We have to be much better in the playoffs also because the playoffs is a different game," Radulov said.
