Anaheim makes final trip of regular season to Nashville

The Anaheim Ducks have really struggled so far this season. The early deficit in the season brought about a new coaching change. Bruce Boudreau is now the head man in Anaheim, and they will be looking to get their first victory against the Nashville Predators this season on Saturday night at Bridgestone Arena.

Nashville is coming off of an impressive come-from-behind victory on Thursday night in Columbus. Those type of wins can be a big boost for a team that was struggling. The Predators come into this game with a 13-11-4 record, and currently sit in 10th place in the Western Conference.

Anaheim is 2-7-1 in their last ten games, and lost their last outing by a 4-2 score to the St. Louis Blues. Teemu Selanne leads the Ducks in points with 28.

It will be interesting to see how the style of play has changed for the Ducks since Boudreau took over as head coach. You can expect the same kind of intensity between two teams that aren't very fond of each other.

My player to watch for the Ducks is Selanne. He always seems to have great games against the Predators, and he's still a great threat to score in his early 40's. Selanne is one of the greatest talents to every play in the NHL, and the Predators will have to be mindful of when he's on the ice tonight.

For Nashville, my player to watch is Jordin Tootoo. It will be interesting to see how he responds after being suspended for the previous two games. Nashville will need him to bring a physical, disciplined presence to the game.
