The Nashville Predators will begin a three game home stand on Tuesday when they take on the San Jose Sharks. Tuesday marks the beginning of what should be an exciting week in Smashville.
Tampa Bay and Anaheim will be in town later in the week to take on the Predators. Fans will get the chance to see players like Joe Thornton, Steven Stamkos, and Corey Perry square off against the Predators.
San Jose and Nashville always seem to play an exhilarating game when they hook up. For the past few years, a rivalry has been born due to the two consecutive years that the Sharks and Preds played each other in the playoffs. San Jose is a perennial Stanley Cup favorite, and will be a tough test for the young Predators squad.
Tampa Bay will make a rare trip to Nashville on Thursday night to take on the Predators. Martin St. Louis and Steven Stamkos have loads of offensive skill, and will be exciting for the fans to watch. Nashville fans don't get to see the Lightning play a lot because they're in the Eastern Conference. Thursday night is also College Night.
On Saturday, the Anaheim Ducks come into Bridgestone Arena for the first time since Game 6 of the 2011 Western Conference Quarterfinals. The Preds will hope to continue the duck hunt by containing the top line of Bobby Ryan, Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. Preds' fans will be anxiously awaiting that game.
This week is a big opportunity for the Predators to collect wins and points. They've had their struggles out of the gate, and will hopefully start getting players back who are currently injured. Nashville fans are in for a treat this week, so hurry and buy your tickets to this week's marquee matchups before it's too late.
