The Nashville Predators defeated the Washington Capitals by a 2-0 score on Tuesday night in Baltimore at the First Mariner Arena to improve to 2-1 in the pre-season.
Nashville got goals from Chris Mueller and Colin Wilson on the night. Mueller also had an assist on Wilson's goal.
Both goalies for Nashville obviously played very well. No goals were surrendered to a very talented Capitals team, which is impressive even if it's a pre-season game.
By many accounts, the ice surface at the arena wasn't very good, so it's good that nobody was seriously injured in the exhibition game.
The Preds will head to Carolina on Friday to take on the Hurricanes at RBC Center at 6:00. On Saturday, the Preds will have their first home pre-season game of the year as they take on the Winnipeg Jets at Bridgestone Arena.
