Preds Await Result of Chicago and Vancouver

The Nashville Predators will know who they play in the 2nd round of the playoffs by the end of the night. If Vancouver beats Chicago, then the Predators will take on the Canucks in the 2nd round. If Chicago is able to complete the comeback, then Nashville will take on the Detroit Red Wings.

Vancouver had a commanding 3-0 lead in this series, but has since allowed the defending Stanley Cup champions to win three games in a row and tie the series. Tonight's game is in Vancouver, where the pressure is at an all-time high.

Goaltender Roberto Luongo, of the Canucks, struggled mightily in games 4 and 5. He didn't start game 6, but came in just in time to give up the game-winning goal in overtime. Dave Bolland returned to the lineup for the Blackhawks in Game 4, and has been the difference for Chicago since then.

Regardless of tonight's outcome, the Predators will start the 2nd round of the playoffs on the road. Tune in to VERSUS tonight at 9:00 p.m. central time to watch the game.
