Nashville Has Chance To Clinch in Home Finale

The Nashville Predators will be taking on a depleted Columbus Blue Jackets team tonight, and will be looking to clinch their 6th postseason spot in 7 years. The Predators will be taking on the Blue Jackets without Martin Erat, while Columbus will be without Rick Nash and Kris Russel.

Nashville can clinch in a variety of ways tonight. The Preds will clinch with a win, an OT or shootout loss, or a Dallas loss of any kind to the Colorado Avalanche. This is the final regular season home game for the Predators, and they wrap up the regular season with a game tomorrow in St. Louis.

The table is set for the Predators to punch their tickets for the Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight. It's now just a matter of doing it. The puck drops at 7:08 p.m. This could be a special night in Nashville.
