The Nashville Predators are looking to rebound from their Tuesday night loss to Vancouver on Thursday night against Colorado. The Preds and Avs have met three times this season, and this game will be the final meeting between the two teams in the 2010-2011 season.
Nashville has won all three previous meetings this year against Colorado, and they are looking to make it four. The Preds only have five games remaining in the regular season, and still have to win to secure a postseason position. The Avalanche are in 14th place in the Western Conference, and are eliminated from postseason contention. That means that Colorado has nothing to play for, which can make them even more dangerous.
Nashville sits in 7th place in the Western Conference with 92 points coming into Thursday night's game. This game is extremely important to the Predators. The Preds need to win at least 3 out of their last 5 games.
The puck will drop at 8:00 P.M. central time at the Pepsi Center in Denver. This is one of two remaining road games for the Predators in the regular season. The game can be seen on FS-Tennessee.
