Flyers Defeat Preds

The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Nashville Predators by a score of 3-2 on Thursday night in Philadelphia. That makes four losses in a row now for the Predators. Here's a few things to take away from the game:

-Marcel Goc and Joel Ward were the goal scorers for the Predators. Goc's goal was due to a stellar play by Cody Franson. Joel Ward had a wide open net after a Shea Weber blast produced a rebound.

-Ville Leino scored two goals for the Flyers, including the game winner.

-I'm not sure what to think about the disallowed goal. Goc scored in the second period but the goal was disallowed due to goalie interference. Hornqvist was in the blue ice but it looked like he was driven into the crease by the Philadelphia player.

-The bottom line is, whether the goal should've counted or not, we have to put the puck in the back of the damn net. In order to win the game it's neccessary to score more goals than the opposing team. The offense has to get better, and it's really just as simple as that.

-Luckily, we have Detroit to look forward to on Saturday night. The Red Wings seem to always bring out good play in the Predators. We've got to have this game on Saturday night.
