Preds Win 2nd in a Row

If you were at the game on Wednesday night in Columbus and happened to be walking in the parking lot afterwards, I hope you were vigilant. You could have very easily tripped over Steve Mason's equipment.

The Nashville Predators defeated the Blue Jackets 4-3 by way of a shootout on Wednesday night. Steve Sullivan scored the lone goal in the shootout and it was a beauty. He made Steve Mason look stupid. It brought back memories of Datsyuk on Vokoun.

The Preds were streaky in this game but got it done in the end. Pekka Rinne played a pretty good game tonight, even though I still question the decision on playing him back to back nights. Pekka's been logging a lot of minutes. In fact, Pekka has 1,086 minutes so far this year. Anders Lindback has 388.

With the win, the Preds currently sit in 9th place in the Western Conference. It would've been better if we got the win in regulation, but I'll just gladly take the two points the way they've been playing lately.

Switching up the lines has seemed to work the last few games. There will be a time where the need to be switched again this season and I hope it's done quicker next time than it was this time.

The next game is Saturday night vs. Carolina at the Bridge. The game will not be on FS Tennessee. Gotta keep it rolling.
