The Nashville Predators defeated the New Jersey Devils by a score of 3-1 on Friday night in New Jersey. Anders Lindback was he goalie for Nashville, while Martin Brodeur was in net for New Jersey. Martin Erat scored two power-play goals tonight for the Preds.
Anders Lindback played a good game once again, stopping 15 out of 16 shots that the Devils put on goal. Mattias Tedenby was the lone goal scorer for the Devils, scoring on a power-play.
Former Nashville Predators captain Jason Arnott was held off the scoring sheet. In all honesty, that New Jersey Devils team just seemed uninspired. I don't think they really cared about this game.
The Preds will return home quickly for a game Saturday night against the talented Los Angeles Kings. The Preds have now accumulated at least a point in 10 straight games, which is a franchise record. The Predators will look to make it 11 against the Kings.
