Lindback Shines as Preds Beat Red Wings

The Nashville Predators defeated their arch-rival Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday night by a 3-2 score for their 10th win at Joe Louis Arena in the franchise's history. The real story of the game, however, was how well Anders Lindback played. He was absolutely fantastic and was the reason the Preds won the game.

The Preds got goals from Colin Wilson, Martin Erat, and J.P. Dumont. The Preds had times where their offensive pressure looked pretty good, but the power-play was dreadful, actually allowing a goal to Pavel Datsyuk.

David Legwand was injured in the game and didn't return. I know a lot of you think that's a big deal. Personally, I really don't but that's ok. That's neither here nor there.

This was a great game. Lindback made some truly great saves during the course of this game. Also, I must give credit when it's due. I blasted Kevin Klein the other night, and deservedly so. However, he made a critical play tonight when he saved a goal that squeaked pass Lindback. So, well done Kevin.

It was a great win. They outskated the Wings for most of the game, they worked harder, and they won the game. It's amazing how that works huh? We probably should try it a little more often.

Phillip and I will be at the Kirkpatrick Community Center from 4:30 to 6 working with our kids hockey program. If you've got some time to spare tomorrow, feel free to come by and help these kids out. Let us know if you'd like to come.
