Injury Concerns

I'm a little concerned. Matthew Lombardi, Ryan Suter, and Martin Erat will not be making this western road trip with the team. Lombardi's absence was expected. It's obvious they he is hurt way more than previously thought after the Chicago game. Suter is scaring me. Apparently, he hasn't even begun skating yet. This team NEEDS Ryan Suter back as quickly as possible. As for Martin Erat...........yeah I'm not too bothered by this news either.

On the brightside, it looks like Marcel Goc and Jordin Tootoo will be back in the game tomorrow night. Goc is especially good news because he was playing very well before that cheap hit by Backstrom that, for some reason(The NHL basically turning a deaf ear), didn't result in any punishment on Backstrom's behalf. The Cube also looks like he might go tomorrow night in the desert as well.

As of now, nobody has been called up in the replacement of Martin Erat, and that probably has to do with Marcel Goc making his return. Of course, nobody is just as good as Martin Erat the way he's been playing. Yes, you could say he's in my dog house.

The Preds take on the Coyotes tomorrow night at 9:00 on FS-TN. It's a key bounce-back game for the Predators as they look to get back on the winning track.

  1. I'm with you on Erat. Tootoo can stay home too.
